Heating or Cooling Transfer Conveyors
Thermal treatment is provided through a thermal fluid jacket on the vessel and/or through the transfer auger. The material
is heated or cooled by direct contact with the walls and auger as the flights transfer the material down the length of the
conveyor. The flights themselves can transfer energy as well.

Advantages:
- Cost savings as the thermal treatment is accomplished in the same time as product is conveyed.
- Accurate control of batch thermal treatment time.
- Control of temperature during material transfer times.
- Material is in closer proximity to heat transfer surface for greater conductive and radiative heating than blender leads
to relative cost savings in thermal media use.
- Higher amount of heat transfer surface area.
