Bulk Material Handling
At Intersystems, each bulk weighing system design undergoes a detailed application analysis to ensure that the system performs
to the highest level of expectations. This ensures its extended life and dependable accuracy. Each bulk weigher is sized
to suit the application whether it is inbound or outbound weighing.
Pre-assembled units are most popular with the hoppers, support structure around scale and gates factory assembled and mounted.
Bin indicators, valves and limit switches are pre-wired and terminated in a terminal box on the side of the scale system.
Gates are pre-plumbed to valves on the side of the scale system. The scale is enclosed to provide protection.
Conventional systems are also available.
Pricing to include the following options is available upon request:
service platforms, test weights, auto life systems, control gates, power units and inline voltage regulators
An essential part of a fast and flexible bulk weighing systems is the controls. The MasterWeigh Millennium control eliminates
manual input of data and adds the ability to monitor and modify data during operation and to automatically transfer data
to central computers. See the brochure for more information.
BASIC BULK WEIGHER OPERATION
1. Feed gate opens and fills weigh hopper to preset draft size
2. Feed gate closes and a gross draft weight is recorded as a plus (+) weight
3. Discharge gate opens and product is discharged into lower surge.
4. Discharge gate is closed and a tare weight is recorded as a minus
(-) weigh; net subtotal is recorded
5. Cycle is repeated until predetermined target weight is obtained at which
point the operator will decide to go to “next” car or “finish.”
