Hydro-Flo Oil Water Separators

Hydro Flo Technologies above ground Oil Water Separators are designed to accommodate flow rates as low as 1 gallon per minute up to 1500 gallons per minute.   They are designed to handle free and dispersed non-emulsified oil, and some settleable solids.  The primary function of the oil water separator is to remove gross quantities of free oil before further treatment is applied.   However, in some cases, oil water separators can be used as end of pipe treatments as needed.       

At Hydro-Flo, we offer a variety of sizes and designs for oil water separation.  Our designs are done in accordance to API criteria, and utilize our DYNA-PAK cross corrugated coalescing media.  Through the use of our coalescing DYNA-PAK media, Hydro-Flo oil water separators will create an effluent that contains less than 10 mg/l of oil droplets greater than 30 microns.  Hydro-Flo will properly size and recommend the top performing and most cost effective solution for your application.   

Hydro-Flo Oil Water Separators are available in fiberglass construction, A36 carbon steel, and T304 stainless steel.  Our wide range of coatings are well suited to handle even the most corrosive applications and will provide a protective layer that will help ensure proper equipment operation for the long term.

Available Accessories for Oil Water Separators

• Coalescing Media
  Our media is available with three different spacings, 1/2", 3/4" and 1-1/4" in order to provide the flexibility to handle any wastestream regardless of solids content and viscosity. Our media is also available in PVC, CPVC, FRP, Polypropylene and Stainless Steel to meet all of your chemical applications.
   
• Sight Glasses
  Our sight glasses are available in both the rigid and flexible form to allow oil flow from the Oil/Water Separator to either integral storage or external tanks or drums. Our sight glasses can be equipped with level sensors to indicate level conditions for your system needs.
   
• Heaters
  We can provide immersion heaters to prevent freezing in any of our equipment configurations.
   
• Platforms
  We can provide platforms for all of our equipment in order to provide gravity flow to downstream equipment or increase floor area for other equipment.
