SPECIFICATION GUIDE SPHERICAL DISC VALVES Type: TLD

The versatile TLD valve is used on rotating and mobile equipment where weight is a concern. TLD valves are available in a wide range of cast or fabricated alloys. Typical finishes are as-cast, polished to #4 or polished #7 mirror finish.

GEMCO valves use a spherical shut-off disc, which moves across the seat, wiping material away from the sealing area. This self-wiping action eliminates pinch points - the source of most valve wear. ANSI or DIN drilling can be provided instead of a standard GEMCO pattern.
