And Dry in One Operation
The basic Gemco Tumble Dryer is the initial product in this versatile line. The vessel is first charged with
material then is rotated at a low speed while heat from 120 - 500 degrees +F and vacuum is applied. The gentle tumble
action provides maximum particle contact with the vessel wall for maximum drying efficiency. Cooling systems are
available to reduce material temperature after drying as required by the process, or for faster unloading and handling
safety. All Gemco Dryers are available with optional agitators to prevent lumping and caking during drying.
A Gemco Blender-Dryer is a dryer with an added variable speed drive system which provides the capability of rotating
at the higher speeds required for effective blending. Thus the system can be used before or after drying. The system
is versatile enough to be used simply as a Tumble Blender, or a Tumble Dryer or as a Combined Tumble Blender-Dryer-
all depending upon the product. Agitators are installed if needed.

The Packaged Approach
The full line of Gemco Tumble Dryers can be purchased as totally packaged, "stand-alone" systems. With a packaged
system, the only external requirements are electricity, water, and air for total operation.

- Airless I positive pressure liquid injection systems

Stainless, Hastelloy, or Glass?
In addition to Gemco's standard line of Stainless Steel series Dryers, Gemco offers Hastelloy Dryers as a viable
option where glass has been considered in the past. Gemco Alloy Dryers provide cost, delivery, reliability and maintenance
advantages plus enhanced processing options. Alloy units are now cost competitive with many Glass lined units while
offering deliveries of only six months or less. And kid gloves maintenance procedures are eliminated! Spare vessels
or long down time for relining are eliminated. Alloy Agitators are available to enhance processing capabilities
and reduce steps by breaking up lumps or adding liquids.
