Each day, throughout the
world, Carbone Lorraine places its know-how at the service of the most demanding
industries. Unequalled on the market, Graphilor® 3 resists
corrosion in the most aggressive media: acids, chlorinated or sulphide organic products, amines, bases, solvents. It
also allows the design of equipment intended for
pharmaceuticals, effluent treatment, foodstuffs and sheet metal stripping.
To satisfy the
requirements of its traditional markets like advanced chemistry and those experiencing strong growth such as the solar
or electronics industry, Carbone Lorraine inaugurated its new factory in Chongqing
in China in October 2007. This plant will, over the next few years, double its isostatic graphite production capacity
and respond to all the needs of the CED. It has strengthened the Asian industrial facilities of Carbone Lorraine, which
already stands at 15 workshops.
