Heatex® with plates made of Tantalum CL-Clad® : the new condensor for the batch process of the
fine chemicals / pharmaceuticals.
Through the synergy between Carbone Lorraine Chemical Equipment Division and its subsidiary Kapp, the plate
exchanger specialist, a new welded plate exchanger saw the light of day in 2007: this is the Heatex®,
made of Tantalum CL-Clad® , which has recently widened the range of materials on offer (stainless steel, nickel alloy,
etc.). This innovation will combine accessibility to the Heatex structure, easy and complete draining, and the best anti-corrosion
material in order to satisfy the requirements of the chemicals industry.
