its industrially designed equipment to water treatment processes. From simple chemical feeding and dissolving packages to
advanced dry and liquid polyelectrolyte preparation systems, Acrison’s heavy-duty dry solids metering equipment is
widely specified for water treatment applications.
Acrison’s heavy-duty Model W-105 Series Volumetric
Feeders
feature a Dissimilar Speed, Double Concentric Auger Metering Mechanism designed to accurately and reliably meter a wide
variety of Dry Chemicals commonly used in water and wastewater treatment applications. This highly effective and versatile
Metering Mechanism consists of a large “Conditioning Auger” or Intromitter, concentrically mounted around a
smaller “Metering Auger”, independently driven at dissimilar speeds in a “fixed proportion” to each
other by a single variable speed gearmotor drive. Model W-105 Series of Feeders are supplied as part of an “equipment
package” to satisfy the dry chemical metering requirements associated with a broad variety of water treatment processes.
Acrison’s Model 500 Polymair Preparation Systems
cut water and wastewater treatment costs through the accurate metering, positive dispersion, and complete wetting of dry
and liquid polymers. The Model 500 Preparation System automatically and efficiently prepares a homogeneous and precise solution
from either dry or liquid polymers at moderate to high capacities.
For wetting dry polymers, the Model 500 System utilizes a novel dry air atomizing system and Cyclone Wetting Chamber, especially
effective when handling dry polymers possessing a very fine particle size. Liquid polymers are metered into Acrison’s
exclusive, highly efficient Dispersion Injector where they are mixed with water and then discharged into the system’s
mixing tank.
Acrison’s advanced Polymair Model 512 Polymer Preparation Module
produces a homogeneous solution from dry or liquid polymers at moderate capacities. Dry polymers are accurately metered
into a highly effective water/air cyclone wetting chamber where they are completely and thoroughly wetted. Optionally,
a metering pump is used to meter liquid polymers into Acrison’s exclusive Dispersion Injector where they are efficiently
blended with water prior to entering the mixing tank.

from either dry or liquid polymers at low to moderate capacities
For wetting dry polymers, the Model 515 System utilizes a novel Cyclone Wetting Chamber design, incorporating an initial
swirling water vortex, enhanced by a series of impinging water jets. Liquid polymers are metered into Acrison’s exclusive,
highly efficient Dispersion-Injector where they are mixed with water and then discharged into the system’s mixing
tank.
Acrison’s Model 580 Liquid
Polymer Preparation Systems
are designed with an extremely efficient, two-stage activation system that produces a precise, uniform and thoroughly activated
solution.
The exclusive Model 580 “two-stage” activation system (the combination of Acrison’s unique and patented
Polymer Dispersion-Injector and Motorized Activation Chamber) ensures both gentle handling of liquid polymer (without exposing
the fragile, elongated polymer chains to damaging energy) and an exceptionally high level of mixing efficiency. Polymer
short-circuiting and/or under-processed or over-processed polymer cannot occur.
Acrison’s Model 530 Liquid
Polymer Preparation Module
is designed with a highly efficient, two-stage “motorless” activation system that produces a precise, uniform
and thoroughly activated solution in an economical and compact package.
The exclusive Model 530 “two-stage” activation system (the combination of Acrison’s unique and patented
Polymer Dispersion-Injector and Static Activation Chamber) ensures both gentle handling and the very efficient mixing of
liquid polymers with water.
Acrison’s Dissolving Systems are used to produce solutions or slurries through efficient mixing of dry materials (chemicals)
with water. Acrison Volumetric Feeders are used to meter dry chemicals into either a Dissolving Tank or a Wetting Cone (depending
on the application and the material being fed), and are supplied as complete units.
