Bin Dischargers
Acrison’s Multiple Auger/Agitator Bin Dischargers provide positive and
uninterrupted flow (discharge) of an exceptionally wide variety of dry solid
materials from storage.
In the utilization of opposed multiple segmented
helical sections, or other type agitation configurations, slowly rotating within
the body of the Bin Discharger, definitive internal mechanical agitation
produces highly reliable downward flow and discharge of even the most
difficult-handling materials. Converging designs that create product flow
patterns typical of conical, pyramidal or wedge type bin bottom designs are
eliminated, thus assuring substantially increased gravity flow into the body of
the Bin Discharger for unrestricted dependable discharge.
Acrison’s Model 170-BD-30 “Flat Bottom” Bin Discharger utilizes mechanically
induced internal agitation to promote the discharge of dry solids ingredients from within
a bin or hopper. The unit features a unique “self-emptying” design, making it
ideal for applications where rapid product changeover with minimal downtime is
critical. The Model 170-BD-30 is commonly used as the refill mechanism for an
Acrison “Weight-Loss” Weigh Feeder.
Acrison’s rugged-duty Vibrating Bin Dischargers
are designed to produce positive and
uninterrupted flow (discharge) of dry solid materials from a storage hopper into
an Acrison feeder on a first-in/first-out basis without product compaction,
degradation, or attrition. Vibration is produced by a heavy-duty, totally
enclosed, permanently lubricated, adjustable motor-driven vibrator.
